1. Information We Collect

We collect your name, phone number, email address, and profile details to authenticate your account and ensure passenger safety. For drivers, we also collect vehicle details and verification documents (Driving License and RC).

2. Privacy-First Communication

GoAlong strictly enforces controlled communication. We do not display phone numbers or personal contact information on public search results. Driver and passenger phone numbers are revealed exclusively between the matched driver and passenger after a booking is confirmed.

3. Location Data & Mapping

When searching or publishing a trip, location coordinates and road routing information are processed via our routing algorithms to match travelers along highway corridors. We do not sell or monetize location data to third parties.

4. Data Security & Storage

User authentication is securely managed via Supabase Auth with Row Level Security (RLS) on PostgreSQL. Private document uploads and sensitive tokens are encrypted.
